Winter Time Trial – 5 January 2012
Sharon wins – as the
Hutchings (x2) smash the ladies’ course record.
Congratulations to Sharon for winning the
first time trial of the new year. Interestingly, she and her mother,
Lynn, finished in exactly the same time so it we can keenly await the
re-trial. Sharon owes her brother, John, a big thank you for sacrificing
his own time trail to guide her around the course safely.
It was also great to see people taking part
who haven’t for a while. It must be the first time in about ten years
that Jon ran the time trial and also Maddy took part while back from
Uni.
It was great that so many participated as
some did choose to avoid this one. Not surprisingly, however, most
times were slightly slower following the festive season.
