Claire Newby
(who improved by over 3 minutes) won the trophy this month on a night of
perfect conditions and our largest ever field (20). Despite smashing the
course record, Stewart Little was only the third runner in.
There were
some excellent performances amongst the six runners making their 4 mile
time trial debuts – Annmarie, Anthony, Dave L., Dave P., Eliza and Paul.
Of those who
have run the course before, a staggering 11 of us (Annemarie, Claire,
Craig, David, Ian B, Ian K, Jill, Neil, Robin, Stewart and Tim) improved
on our previous recorded time.
