March 2008 Willett Handicap Time Trial

Tim Box achieved a PB on his way to lifting the time trial trophy. There was also a terrific run from Annemarie Fachiri who also managed a PB. Julie Mead saw a big improvement on her previous time and Robin Hughes had a strong run on his time trial debut. The fastest recorded time was easily Graham Whiffen’s 26.26, and Nicki Roe was the fastest of the girls by more than a minute. Light permitting this should be the last time we use the Willett Arms route until October. The rather more scenic Cowgrove route will be used through the summer months.

Thanks to a slightly ‘under the weather’ Phil Burgess who volunteered for timekeeping duties.
