March 2011 – Willett 5k Time Trial

Phil Whitehurst wins.

Congratulations to Phil Whitehurst, this month’s time trial winner.  And, he quietly boasted to his bevvy of adoring female fans, he had run a 12-miler the day before.  Obviously a handicapping mistake!  (No - I jest).  Second home was Lou Pope - well done. Andy Olden knocked another huge 28 seconds off his ever-improving time and John Hutchings also continues to trim his time on successive months.  Ian Kennedy deserves a mention coming in well over a minute quicker than his February time.

Those of you raising your eyebrows at the times of Paul M and Mike H should note that both were taking it easy this month - so we won’t use their times next time, eh?
