As this month’s time
trial followed within a few days of the Neolithic Marathon and the day
after the Purbeck 10k there was reduced numbers of trialists and some
race weary legs taking part. Combined with this it is was a warm, humid,
airless evening, so for once any times gains achieved were very modest
ones.
David Wild who
started on an estimated handicap was first to cross the line, but Ian
Kennedy took the trophy this month. The fastest time was recorded by
Graham Whiffen.
June’s time trial
will be over the longer distance of 10 miles using the Wimborne 10
route.
Full results were:
May – 4 miles
– Cowgrove route
