We are back using our traditional
winter time trial route up to Willett Arms from this month as the path
over the river bridge improves. It was our biggest field ever for a four
mile time trial and we saw five first-time trialists. Well done to Pete
Carr, Jeremy Hett, Rich House, Paul Mallett and Danny Symington. The
increasing number of runners gave our timekeepers-come-recorders plenty
to think about. Thanks very much to Jon Braund and Nick Solomon who did
a great job. From next month we are going to issue running numbers to
trialists to make the timekeeping an easier job.
Claire Newby was the first over the
line and Mike Porter had an excellent run in only his second time trial.
Anthony Clark, Maddy Vaughan-Johncey and Paul Teck all recorded their
fastest 4 mile time trials yet.
