Summer Time
Trial – 1 September 2011
Course record smashed.
Callum Kennedy won his first ever time trial, and in the process smashed
the course record (set by Roy Long in April) by almost 40 seconds.
Conditions were favourable as the first seven finishers all ran their
fastest times of this summer. John Hutchings had a very fine run in
particular, and ‘Mr Consistent’ has to be Baz Barry who is always near
the top of the charts.
The
fastest woman runner on the night was Rachel Gladdis, well done Rachel,
and the biggest improvement came from Morag Day who ‘found’ a minute and
a half on last month’s time.
