Grace Copeland’s 10k race at Brighton on Sunday was special. She’d broken the club record for the 10k on Boxing Day when 35:20 was recorded. The performance in Brighton, 33:54 – almost a minute and a half faster, places Grace amongst the country’s elite.
Grace is currently ranked No. 1 in the UK for an under-20 woman over 10k. Perhaps more impressively, only a dozen under-20 women have recorded faster times on the UK’s ‘All Time’ list.
As Grace crossed the line she was presented with a pint of beer, she certainly had something to celebrate!
