WAC Under 17 all-around athlete Kane Aubrey recently represented England in the discus at the National Youth Games in Dublin. He finished in an amazing second place with a best throw of 48.48m beating his previous club record and taking him to 4th place in the UK rankings.
This came only a week after he threw another club record of 15.86m in the shot put at a local YDL fixture. He is now ranked 2nd in the UK for shot.
A tremendous achievement for someone who started out as a promising sprinter with the club and has only really got into the discus in the last three months.
