CONDITION OF ENTRY, FEES, PRIZES and PROCESS
Before entering, please read this part carefully.
- Minimum entry age of 18 years
- If you are a EA registered athlete you are required to wear the registered vest of your first claim club in this race.
- Disqualification awaits any entrant who undertakes any of the following:
- Allows pacing by another person not participating in the race
- Allows accompanying dogs, buggies or cyclists.
- Allows the carrying of a child (not pregnancy)
- The wearing of any type of headphone outside those medically prescribed.
- By entering the race you agree to complete the course within the 2hrs 15 mins cut-off and acknowledge that if you drop below the required pace you will be withdrawn from the race by the last runner marshal and a vehicle will transport you back to the finish.
- These are the cut off times and locations:
- 1st Water Station – 38mins
- 2nd Water Station – 65mins
- 3rd Water Station – 92mins
- Race numbers must be worn on the front of your vest (not shorts) and visible at all times to allow chip reading
- Anti Doping: An entrant shall be deemed to have made themselves aware and agree to be bound by the UKA antidoping rules and to submit to the authority of UK antidoping in the application and enforcement of the anti doping rules. The UKA antidoping rules apply to entrants participating in the sport of athletics for 12 months from their date of entry whether or not the licence holder is a citizen or resident in the UK.
- For a county championship race, any rule breaches will be notified to the race director by the race referee and actioned. In other races the race director will act as race referee by default.
I will abide by the laws and rules for the competition as determined by England Athletics. I am medically fit to run and understand that I enter at my own risk and that the organisers will in no way be held responsible for any injury or illness to my person or as a result of the event or for any property lost.
General Date Protection Registration – Privacy Policy
Your entry into the race via England Athletics (Run Events) requires you to provide personal data. As the race organiser, this is used in two ways:
- To enter you into the race, provide a race number and a results service based on your data and finishing time
- To communicate with you pre and post event.
Your information is not shared or passed to any other organisation, other than England Athletics, the Chip Timing Company, the Dorset Road Race League (if a DRRL race) and if applicable, the organisers of the Dorset County Championships. Published information will include your name, your race time, club and age group.
It will not be used other than for the purposes described above. If you do not feel this is a legitimate use of your data, please do not enter the race.
Your result will not be attributed to your Club if we do not receive your England Athletics number at the online entry stage. The entry process requires club runners to enter their EA number in order to automatically generate their club from the EA system. If your number is not recognised or it does not generate the correct club, then you must speak to your club membership secretary before entering the race.

Entry fees
- Entry fee is £20 for UKA registered club members, £25 for non-registered athletes
Prizes for Wimborne 10 – One prize per runner, except team prizes
- First, second, third male and female
- Ist and 2nd in the following categories:
- Senior Man, Senior Lady
- Male Vet over 35, Female Vet over 35
- Male Vet over 40, Female Vet over 40
- Male Vet over 45, Female Vet over 45
- Male Vet over 50, Female Vet over 50
- Male Vet over 55, Female Vet over 55
- Male Vet over 60, Female Vet over 60
- 1st in the following categories:
- Male Vet over 65, Female Vet over 65
- Male Vet over 70, Female Vet over 70
- Male Team of 3 based on cumulative time
- Female Team of 3 based on cumulative time
- Prizes for 1-3 Male and Female will be issued as those runners cross the line. Age category and team prizes will be posted or hand delivered after the race
